Frank Brangwyn’s Prints
5 Jun-30 Sep 2018
Brighton Museum & Art Gallery
Brighton BN1 1EE
Frank Brangwyn (1867–1956) achieved early fame as a printmaker, and made over 1,000 original prints in his lifetime. His work is characterised by an intense sympathy for the daily labour of humanity. During the 1930s he gave away much of his work, and the Royal Pavilion & Museums holds one of the country’s largest collections of prints by Brangwyn. This display of etchings and lithographs from the Fine Art collection captures the range of his work.
