Personal Choices From The Arts Council Collection. Fourteen older members of the Derby community have selected an exhibition including sculpture and painting from the Arts Council Collection. The works chosen date from 1929 to 2003 and include with such great favourites as William Nicolson, L.S Lowry, David Hockney, Gillian Ayres, Grayson Perry and Anya Gallaccio. The curators bring to the project many combined years of experience and a wealth of expertise and enthusiasm for the arts. As part of the process trips were made to the art stores in London and Yorkshire to view the Collection and make the final decisions. Exhibition curated in QUAD, co-ordinated by Jane Bevan.
