text+work, the Arts University College at Bournemouth, in association with MoDiP, is pleased to announce the forthcoming exhibition, lifecycle, presenting the works of eco-designer-maker Michelle Brand alongside poems by Jenny Swann. The product/artwork that will form part of this exhibition has been derived from a standard PET (polyethylene terephthalate – a versatile material that is fully recyclable) bottle, and will encompass lights, hanging panels, fashionwear, sculptures and photographs presenting the products as artworks. These will be exhibited alongside the poems, which have all been composed in direct response to the products/artworks and which will form an integral part of the exhibition, presented as visuals, as well as forming the core of the text+work publication. This exhibition is curated by Susan Lambert, Consultant to MoDiP (Museum of Design in Plastic) situated at the Arts University College at Bournemouth.
