Overview

Bournemouth Arts by the Sea Festival is a new festival brought to the town by Arts Bournemouth and runs from 3 September to 15 October. Bringing together visual arts, film, music, dance, performance, literature and live art, the festival aims to bring inspirational and exceptional art to Bournemouth. Working in partnership with a wealth of organisations and individuals, the festival events take place in a host of spaces and places, including many unusual and unexpected locations. In collaboration with the Arts University College at Bournemouth, the festival presents an innovative project engaging two highly skilled artists who work with the fascinating art of neon light. The project offers workshops, a neon light trail and a final exhibition at The Gallery at the Arts University College at Bournemouth.
