Overview

This prequel/sequel dissects the mix of people involved in writing a collective radio sitcom, and lays out the processes of self-representation in their individual practices. The artists rehearse their various comedic others – not as a collective non-artist, but a chorus of self-negating real artists – and generally position themselves contrary to the expectations of others. But if expectations already take contrariness into account, what is there left to subvert?
