Overview

This summer Project Arts Centre will throw open its doors, presenting three exhibitions in all three spaces – the Gallery, Space Upstairs theatre, and Cube theatre. In a large-scale celebration of the visual arts across the multi-disciplinary arts centre, the three exhibitions will include a major new commission by Sam Keogh (IE): a sculptural installation in the usually 200-seat Space Upstairs. In the Gallery, a patchwork island is stitched together with works by Daniel Dewar & Grégory Gicquel(FR), Angela Fulcher (UK/IE) and Ruth E. Lyons (IE), while the Cube is filled with ghosts of the theatre, in an ‘empty’ group exhibition that includes artworks by Zbyněk Baladrán(CZ), Janice Kerbel (CA) and Susan Philipsz (UK).
