Overview

Hadley+Maxwell will be presenting an echo of a tale of imperialism, a sculpture installation that builds on tangible historical memory, in an intangible, spectre-riddled environment. The Queen still falls to you stages a shattered and recomposed version of Queen Victoria. It follows the thread of a Dublin monument of Queen Victoria that emigrated to Sydney, Australia in the 1980s, and montages her against various versions of the same monarch. The installation is created in our gallery during, and for, the Dublin Theatre Festival.
