Beautiful yet disquieting, exhibited is a new series of work by acclaimed British artist Frances Kearney made especially for Norwich Castle Museum & Art Gallery. Displayed within the context of the Norwich School paintings these large-scale photographic tableaux respond to the idea of ‘landscape’ with an eye on our present day relationship with the ‘great outdoors.’ Carefully choreographed Kearney demonstrates her fascination with human behaviour, the way we interact with nature and its effects on the human psyche.
