Luke Ching is a Hong Kong-based artist who received a MA Degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Luke's work is often made as a spontaneous response to his surroundings. With a particular focus on the city, his works attempt to explore the people and places around him, observing and then rebuilding a city with works that sit in-between real life and fiction. For Luke's residency here at the Centre he will be conducting various interventions across Manchester, looking at ‘accidental moments' which could happen as part of the everyday. Ranging from 5 minute performances of accidental trips and falls on the streets, to gifts of missing dollar notes left in phone boxes, Luke's project across the city will certainly be one to look out for!
