Overview

A History of Liverpool School of Architecture. Explore the story of the teachers, students and graduates of Liverpool School of Architecture, alongside the work they have produced. The country’s oldest university school of architecture has helped influence British architectural training and drawn students from across the globe, who have gone on to shaped the built environment at all levels. A section of the exhibition examines the fascinating history of the Polish School of Architecture that existed at the School during the Second World War. Here architects and students were offered sanctuary from occupied Poland, putting in place plans to help rebuild the country after liberation.
