An exhibition to mark the launch of ‘NIGHT TIME’ an artist book by Ana Laura Lopez de la Torre and the people of Southwark. During her tenure as the holder of the Southwark Studio Residency, artist Ana Laura Lopez de la Torre has been researching the theme of night time. Night Time is an artist book that brings together the images, stories and exchanges resulting from an 18-month long process involving informal conversations, public events, walks and rides, home visits, and workshops with people of all kinds of backgrounds. Book Launch: Wednesday 9 September 2009, 6.00-8.00 pm The book will be launched with an evening event including readings from the book, and a special performance by playwright and spoken-word rising star Inua Phaze Ellams.
