Cooper Gallery presents the first major exhibition in the UK of the preeminent German artist Anna Oppermann (1940-1993). Exploring Oppermann's analytical practice and her concerns around the commercialisation of art, the role of the artist and her position as a woman in the art world and society, the exhibition features one of Oppermann’s highly celebrated ‘Ensembles’ alongside drawings, paintings and archival material.
