"The real journey of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes" - Marcel Proust Through Towner’s partnership with the Blue Monkey Network, an artist network based in Eastbourne, six artists have been given the unique opportunity to get to know our collection and curate an exhibition at Towner. Taking inspiration from Proust, the artists have created a stimulating display reflecting on the many layers of the artistic process. Including works by Grayson Perry, Eduardo Paolozzi and Eric Ravilious’s woodblocks and tea cup designs.
