British artist Jodie Carey has created three striking site-responsive installations for London’s Foundling Museum. A sea of delicate, ceramic fragments produced from fired clay-covered fabric swatches covers the gallery floor. Upstairs two monumental works made from plaster and bronze cast in the earth are set amongst the historic Collection. On display for the first time, these poignant works encourage visitors to reflect on the elemental nature of the Foundling Hospital story – of love, loss and survival.
