Jacqueline Bebb 1-6 Dec / Ben Dawson 8-13 Dec / Karen Cunningham 15-20 Dec / Mike Goddard 29 – 3 Jan / Simon Newby 5-10 Jan / Matthew Richardson 12-17 Jan. Each of the selected artists will have a one-week solo show. The resulting six solo shows will be presented back-to-back in nonhierarchical order, generating a concentrated and energetic programme. Some of the selected artist members are working with OUTPOST for the first time for this show, whilst others are more familiar with the gallery. Richardson and Dawson are keen to explore the format of the gallery: Richardson will make use of the OUTPOST office space; Dawson will make his own press release text into an edition. Newby makes sculptures which play with the materiality of objects whilst Goddard explores graphical puns in his work. Bebb and Cunningham present precise sculptural placements which create a sense of tension- at OUTPOST Cunningham will produce a large sand sculpture.
