Ben Brown Fine Arts is extremely proud to present EMOTIONAL OBJECTS - the first solo exhibition of works by Cuban artist Yoan Capote in London. A leading figure of the burgeoning Cuban art scene, Capote creates provocative, slightly unsettling, often humorous and overtly ambiguous sculptural works in a myriad of media. The exhibition will include one of the artist’s elaborate nail and fishhook paintings, Isla (La Espera); a new work from his monumental sculpture series Migrant; and a steel installation entitled Lacerante (mi silencio), realized for the first time exclusively for this show; as well as examples of his highly conceptual photographic work.
