By Creatives:9 from University Centre at Macclesfield College. Creatives:9 – Roisin Brown, Vivien Fox, Jackie Gibbs, Lucy Hill, Amber Hind, Jenny Jackson, Louise Knight, Carol Newton and Michelle Stringer. Creatives:9 is a group of nine Foundation Degree students in the final year of the Creative Arts for Employment course. The theme for their graduation exhibition is A Sense of Place and each student has explored and developed visual and emotional connections to local areas around Manchester and Macclesfield. These responses are manifested through a range of media including photography, textiles, ceramics, print and mixed media. Our exhibition is dedicated, with love and respect, in memory of Charlotte Woodiwiss, our beautiful friend and fellow art student. A selection of her prints will be included in the exhibition.
