Pioneering artist, theorist and teacher Roy Ascott, returns to London for his first solo exhibition in 25 years. With an art career beginning in 1962, Ascott has continued to push the boundaries of what art is, incorporating the science of cybernetics with elements of Dada, Fluxus and Pop art to explore arts value in exploding how we understand ourselves through communication. This exhibition presents an overview of Ascott’s influential artwork and theories alongside a programme of events to give an insight into a radical career of pushing boundaries.
