Overview

Though partners Howard Dyke and Clare Price have coincidentally appeared together in group shows, this is the first time they have been given the opportunity to show work on their own; their work reflects upon and reacts to each other's practice. Both abstract painters, they nevertheless work quite differently - on the one hand rescuing gesture and chance from the apparently cold 'process' of the computer-generated image and on the other, accumulating heterogenous materials in a conceptual quilting that is almost blindly physical.
