Talbot Rice Gallery puts ‘beauty’ in the frame with Beholder, an exhibition exploring taste and subjectivity in the visual arts. Artists, individuals and organisations across Scotland were invited to loan or nominate a work they consider to represent ‘beauty’. Displayed together the nominated artworks generate a dynamic visual exchange around this contested theme. Democracy is key to this project and as the beholder we invite you to participate by discussing the artwork(s) you consider most beautiful. You can do this in the gallery or online through facebook.
