Overview

Delfina Foundation will present the UK premiere of Aslı Çavuşoğlu’s critically acclaimed Murder in Three Acts (11 – 25 October) - a scripted crime drama originally rehearsed, performed, and filmed using a crew of professional actors and producers at Frieze London 2012. Commissioned as part of Frieze Projects 2012, and Delfina Foundation’s Artist-in- Residency programme, this is the first time all three completed episodes will be shown together in the UK – a slick, fast-paced, tongue-in-cheek drama mimicking popular crime investigation series such as CSI. The project draws parallels between forensic experts and art professionals, based on their methodologies of exacting the “truth” from physical artefacts. The installation will also provide visitors with a sneak preview of Delfina Foundation’s newly expanded building, which will be unveiled in January 2014.
