Overview

Join us at 6.30pm for a special presentation of Edwin Burdis' new work The Fruit Machine (a painting) & The Fruit Machine (an opera) which he has been making in Wysing's gallery during The Forest residency. The work consists of a large scale painting installation and a new opera made in collaboration with artist and poet Heather Phillipson. The allegorical painting depicts, with great absurdity, how we on Earth use and abuse our fruits and resources to fulfill our own desires.
