Overview

Rae draws her influences and ideas from a huge selection of sources, such as graphic novels, Japanese anime, the painterly splashes and drips of Abstract Expressionism, and artists as wide ranging as Albrecht Durer and Philip Guston. The exhibition brings together paintings executed between 2000 and 2011, a period when the artist was making dramatic changes to her practice.
