There's Nobody Here : An Online Exhibition

Overview

The World Economic Forum holds its annual meeting at the Kongress Centre in Davos, Switzerland between 22-25th January 2014. The artist Nicholas Cobb has created two tableaux to reimagine this event. Giant skeletons cavort about the conference centre grounds while oblivious security guards go about their business of protecting world leaders from potential threats. The series of 36 images is by turns a miserable and humorous howl of protest against the current neoliberal orthodoxy, lost in the winds that blow straight through these skeletal figures.
