Between the Wars presents 60 works selected from Manchester Art Gallery’s fine art collection that explore the diversity of British art from the years between the First and Second World Wars (1919 to 1939). This new display features paintings by some of the period’s best-known artists including Stanley Spencer, Ben Nicholson, Paul Nash, Ivon Hitchens, Christopher Wood and Vanessa Bell.
