Marie Toseland and Jonathan P Watts will explore the use of language, performance and representation in Toseland's work and in contemporary art more widely. They will also discuss rap battles in relation to the performance of the self and photography in social media. Marie Toseland is currently on residency at Standpoint Gallery, as part of Standpoint Futures Residencies 2013/14. Jonathan P Watts is a writer & critic based between Norfolk & London. For updates on the developments of each residency follow http://standpointfuturesresidency.tumblr.com *** Standpoint Futures is supported by Arts Council England, Arts Council Wales, Creative Scotland and the Fenton Arts Trust.
