Overview
Working in film and installation, Hough examines what appear to be artifacts of great historical importance, seemingly laden with a narrative past. However, Hough complicates the narrative by celebrating what is in fact a movie prop, raising questions about how we view and accredit such objects. For his exhibition at MOT Projects, Hough departs from an archival image depicting Tutankhamun’s shrine to then present a single installation.
