The exhibition presents two commissions specific to the Pavilion’s architecture and environment. Made of welded steel and paper, materials with contrasting qualities, Exposure Sculptures are a group of geometric structures which will be placed on the outdoor roof terrace for several months before being reassembled and presented in the gallery. Exposed to extreme conditions such as heavy wind, salty air and the intense sunlight of the south coast, the sculptures will go through dramatic weathering and transformation.
