Overview

Widely regarded as one of the world’s most politically engaging yet poetic artists, Jaar addresses humanitarian trauma, inequalities and injustices around the world. The original version of this work was displayed outside the Underground Gallery. Generously donated by the artist and a/political, this iteration of the work sees the cells permanently installed within this young woodland, opening up this area of the Park for the first time. Visitors are invited to walk amongst the trees to discover the hidden structures.
