KISS KISS KILL KILL

Overview

Centred on the kitsch posters produced during the heyday of the European Spy Film (1964-1968), Kiss Kiss Kill Kill puts a collection of newly restored posters on public display for the first time. The project offers an opportunity to see espionage films made on both sides of the Iron Curtain, some of which have never been screened before in the UK. Showcasing both the ‘trashiest’ fruits of 1960s co-production and the leaden propaganda of communist film it will also provide a platform for some real gems – films, which have escaped both the academy and the censor.
