Overview

Valerie is a sculptor who is fascinated with materials. She works with different materials (including: plaster, hair, wire wool, cardboard, plant seeds, rubber) to stimulate the viewer’s sense of touch and encourage a physical and sensual response to different substances and forms. Valerie has been in residence at UH for 12 months and will create sculptures in response to the architecture in the Art and Design Gallery.
