The Picker House, designed in 1968 by architect Kenneth Wood, is the subject for a series of contemporary projects that reflect upon the immaculately preserved home more than a quarter of a century since Stanley Picker himself occupied the property. The Occupants will also present period photographs of the house alongside a new short film about Kenneth Wood’s wider career. The exhibition marks the launch of The Stanley Picker House and Collection: A Late 1960s Home for Modern Art and Design by Philip Wilson Publishers, the first book dedicated to the extraordinary private house and art collection of the founder of the Stanley Picker Trust.
