Overview

Thea Djordjadze is the recipient of the second Outset Residency at the South London Gallery. For her first UK solo exhibition she has produced new works during her summer residency at the gallery. Djordjadze’s practice focuses on extending the languages of sculpture through the interplay of different formal structures within the context of installations, as well as on testing the scope and potential of the broad but very specific range of materials from which she constructs her work.
