Overview

This solo exhibition features daytime scenes of London by this established cityscape painter. The artist presents an energetic view of the city with her signature, jigsaw-like, flat form and rich gloss paintings. Dubnyckyj has been mastering this technique since her degree show in 2001, and she has recently pushed the painterly abstraction and compositional use of colour in her work. In her new series she highlights elements of the city with strong primary colours, creating visually rich and complex images.
