Overview

The fourth in our series of “Artist in Focus” displays, on show in the gallery will be a selection of key works from the Kettle’s Yard collection, including some from parts of the house that are currently closed for refurbishment. Important works will also be drawn together from the Fitzwilliam Museum and the University of Essex, including Woman with Fox, the sister portrait to our own hugely popular Boy with Cat, which was given to the University of Essex by Jim Ede in 1964. This exhibition will reunite the portraits for the first time in nearly thirty years.
