Overview

Recent Glasgow School of Art graduate Alex Dordoy presents his first major solo exhibition in the UK at Inverleith House this Winter. persistencebeatsresistance presents all-new work commissioned for Inverleith House and the exhibits range from large wall installations, cast objects, paintings and highly decorated sculptures which emerge from a questioning of nature and culture in the digital and machine age. Dordoy is represented by The Modern Institute, Glasgow and GRIMM Amsterdam and has recently presented solo exhibitions in Athens, Copenhagen, Glasgow and Amsterdam and in 2010 participated in ‘Young Scottish Painters’ at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. He lives and works in London.
