Renny Tait : Thresholds to Brighter Worlds
10 Jan-17 Feb 2018
Flowers, Cork Street
London W1S 3LZ
Scottish artist Renny Tait’s reconstructed architectural landscapes explore the underlying geometric order of the built environment in pursuit of pure, simple form. His painted depictions of familiar London landmarks, such as Battersea Power Station and the Hayward Gallery, explore ideas of memory associated with architecture, considering the imprint of iconic buildings on the imagination and how this affects the way that we view the world around us.
