ACTION one19 (Jonny Liron and Chris Goode) ‘I UNDERSTAND AND I WISH TO CONTINUE (Silverlake Retrieval Action)’. Performance part of 'Sideshow and Other Stories': a series of performance pieces developed in response to Five Years' gallery space by artists working in the field of experimental theatre. Each participant will occupy the gallery for a weekend: their contributions will include both performances and other physical interventions in the space that may function as set, installation or material residue for the following occupant to work with. Action one19 is the collaborative project of Jonny Liron and Chris Goode. Chris Goode is a writer and maker working in theatre and live performance. He has amassed a significant body of unpredictable work in diverse formats: from large-scale theatre-based projects to intimate solo pieces. Jonny Liron is a theatre maker, actor, poet, dancer, and manual labourer.
