Overview

Drawing on the colours and designs of Ghanaian textiles, Let’s Make Art will guide each child in making their own stylish, woven wall hanging with handmade tassels and decoration. Inspired by Hassan Hajjaj’s celebration of his Moroccan heritage and cultural influences, we will be celebrating the beautiful diversity that make Bristol such a great city to live in. All the workshops will be finished off with our Photo Booth. Reproducing Hassan Hajjaj’s recognisable style of portraiture, we will create a flamboyant backdrop and frame to capture the wearable artwork created at all Let’s Make Art workshops. With permission your child will be sent a portrait of themselves in all their colourful designs. Extra precautions will be put in place to ensure all families can take part in the workshop safely. Age guidance 5+. All children must be accompanied by a parent/carer. 1.00pm to 2.15pm and 3.00pm to 4.15pm
