Born 1988 in Kharkov, Ukraine. Lives and works in London. Olga Pedan works with a pictorial language that is open in its references and leaves room for different registers of understanding. Her paintings can be seen as an exploration of how we generate and make sense of images, for instance through blending spatiality and color-fields with other forms of information such as text, symbols and characters.
