Alexander James is a British born artist based in London. He works in a variety of media including painting, sculpture, textiles, video and instillation. He graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in 2015, and his work deals with the formation of identity within the intersection of digitalisation and materiality. James describes his process as a ‘collage’, layering elements both materially and symbolically, creating rich documentations of colour, image, texture, and memory.
