Gunter Sachs (1932—2011) was a German businessman, photographer, art collector, gallery owner, museum director and patron. Since turning to photography in the 1970s his work has been internationally exhibited, winning multiple awards, including the Leica Awards (1973) and Photokina prizes in 1994 and again in 1995.
