SCULPTURE IN FOCUS
Feb 8 - Dec 1, 2019
To coincide with the 60th anniversary year of Jacob Epstein's death, in 2019 we are celebrating sculpture in all forms throughout our Collections programme. The Sculpture in Focus trail will position a key piece of contemporary sculpture from our Permanent Collection within each of our ten themed rooms, featuring diverse artists including Henri Gaudier-Brzeska, Henry Moore, Bob and Roberta Smith and Marcus Taylor, continuing our tradition of making links between historic and contemporary art.

ANDREW LACON
Apr 2 - Jun 2, 2019
Andrew Lacon works with sculpture and imagery to question how materials are understood and valued in different contexts and historical periods, particularly in relation to public display. His work is informed by his early encounters with art, involving visits to municipal museums and churches but little direct engagement with contemporary art objects, which were experienced through images in books.

Jun 22 - Sep 1, 2019
Alan Kane frequently celebrates creativity in everyday life, often working collaboratively on projects which draw on found or readymade objects. High art collides with popular culture, the amateur with the professional, to create often humorous and thought-provoking projects.
