SOMALI FEAST

Somali Feast explores three of the most fundamental aspects of Somali Culture – food, hospitality and craftwork. It is a celebration of the traditional skills of Somali women and the welcome given to those who visit their home. The artwork is the result of an ongoing creative dialogue between Fion Gunn, Ifrah Odawa and the Streatham Women Sewing Group which they run.
