Mar 8 - Apr 14, 2019
Private view Thu Mar 7 6.30pm - 8.30pm
Lucy Clout’s show ‘A Symptom’ builds on work made during her six-month residency with Berwick Visual Arts and Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival. Sculptural and video pieces bring together research around the close readings of bodies in relation to diagnostic narratives, queer reproduction and pleasure. The creation, distribution and ability to access knowledge is examined via online communities where the internet is activated as the site of extremes of both publicness and privateness.
