Excessively charged output verses stockpiling of the worry maker.

Living in the underground there is an explosive cache ready to be launched, acting as storage for the excess, the unneeded, all the dark shit you can’t deal with right now.

This is dark silo.

In a world of unlimited storage there must be an overflow.

OFF STAGE : FRANK CREBER
Aug 8 - 23, 2020
Private view Fri Aug 7
Frank Creber presents a series of large narrative paintings about his experiences of living and working in the community in East London. The main action of the story, in each painting, takes place in a space in between neighbourhoods observed on location from Lower Clapton Road in Hackney to The Royal Docks in Newham.

Creber uses found images of people that resonate with his personal experiences. Drawing with ink on paper he develops a series of protagonists that are brought together in compositions. The resulting oil paintings explore the possibility that community can bring vitality to an atomised society.

Frank Creber is based at Thames-Side Studios. For more on Frank's work visit www.frankcreber.space
