Auction: Thursday 15 November, 5.30-8.30pm.
The Postgraduate Art Auction returns to the Lethaby Gallery, bringing together an incredible collection of donations from acclaimed artists, as well as artworks fresh from the studios of our current students and recent graduates.
Lots in the live auction, for which we welcome returning auctioneer-extraordinaire Adrian Biddell, include generous donations from a host of previous Turner Prize winners and nominees. We are delighted to include this year Raqib Shaw, Antony Gormley, Mona Hatoum (named Whitechapel Gallery’s Art Icon 2018), Laure Prouvost (selected to represent France at the La Biennale di Venezia 2019), Grayson Perry, Kathy Prendergast, Matthew Krishanu, Peter Doig and Emma Talbot.

MADAME B : EXPLORATIONS IN EMOTIONAL CAPITALISM
Mar 2 - Apr 15, 2019
A video installation by Mieke Bal & Michelle Williams Gamaker.
This immersive exhibition proposes a contemporary reimagining of Gustave Flaubert's novel Madame Bovary (1856) which highlights the startling currency of capitalist consumption and romantic love in today’s society.
