2019 KCCUK ARTIST OF THE YEAR : KANG JUNGSUCK
Dec 9, 2019 - Feb 15, 2020
KCCUK is delighted to present Kang Jungsuck as the Artist of the Year. Kang won a ‘2019 BALTIC Artists’ Award’ by Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, and KCCUK is having a partnership with Baltic to present Jungsuck's exhibition from 9th December 2019 to 15th February 2020. Interested in the gaming industry, and drawing from his own everyday experiences of the digital realm, Jungsuck makes videos, sculptures, installations and self-published books which explore the intersection of the real and the virtual. Through his video works and fabricated objects, Jungsuck creates environments which examine multiple layers of realities and unrealities.
